Chakra Innovation aims to create pioneering, sustainable, and scalable technologies to combat the grave threat posed by pollution. Our mission is to develop and implement innovative solutions which can effectively control pollution – saving the natural product, a retrofit emission control device for the diesel environment, and protecting people’s health. Our device aims at addressing one of the most pressing issues for humankind "availability of breathable air by capturing pollution at source".
Chakra Innovation has been developed as the world’s first retro-fit emission control device for diesel generators. Our technology can capture ~90% of particulate matter emissions from the exhaust of diesel generators without causing any adverse impact on the engine. Chakra Innovation is currently active in Delhi-NCR, Pune and Bangalore, having deployed its emission-control technology at over 70 sites in association with companies like Titan, Hindustan Petroleum, Mahindra World City, Tata projects, and Indian Oil Corporation.
The startup leverages cutting-edge technology to capture emissions from diesel generators, and converts pollution-causing particles into a base pigment for black inks and paints. The primary product of the company is Chakr Shield, a technology sanctioned by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories.
Chakr Innovation was selected as one of the top 200 companies in India by NITI Aayog under the initiative ‘Champions of Change’.
